New York, Part Four

Some digital compact pictures from America this Summer. The last two are in Connecticut, not New York.

A Day In The Park

It decided to be summer in the middle of October, so we went to Fletcher Moss for the day.

I developed these negatives myself.  Most of the imperfections are from the spiral loading going horribly wrong.  They were a bit under-developed too, and I need a better wetting agent, but I think they came out alright for a first try.  They're are also the first exposures I've developed that were taken with the Pentax MX that I got for my birthday.  It's fully manual which is..interesting?  So, basically none of the variables were held constant.  Screw the scientific method, I guess.

And this is what we listened to in the park...

Gibraltar Farm

We went on a camping trip near Morecambe Bay.  October is kind of pushing it so that'll probably be the last one of the year.

Wallingford, Connecticut

It was a lovely wedding.

"Hold Me Tight", by The Treasures (Philles Records, 1964)

New York, Part Three

I guess this is a song that stood out from what I was listening to whilst we were in New York.

"ITHAW", by Shed, from Shedding the Past  (Ostgut Ton, 2008)

Blue Jays at Yankees

"Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game."
